Description
Led by Antón García-Abril and Débora Mesa, Ensamble Studio works across several disciplines to arrive at the most innovative approaches, focusing – as they themselves explain – on processes rather than on results, and always from an experimental perspective. Balancing imagination and reality, art and science, their work tests new types, technologies, and methods to address issues as diverse as the shaping of landscape with structures or the systems of prefabrication for buildings. The selection of twenty of their most representative works includes the SGAE Headquarters in Santiago de Compostela, the Cyclopean House in Brookline, and Desert Rocks in Saudi Arabia.
