Description
GA HOUSES 142 features Milano Salone Report 2015 and 12 residences (6 each of Australia and Japan).
The latest trend of design is reported as seen through Milano Salone and other events held in the city. Which design and designer attracted a lot of attention at this year’s Salone?
The cover work is by MATSUOKASATOSHITAMURAYUKI which appears on GA HOUSES for the first time. What kind of residence space develops from the staircase which occupies one-third of the total floor plan? The houses introduced earlier: Sean Godsell (GA HOUSES 136), Yo Shimada (GA HOUSES 136), and TNA (GA JAPAN 130), are now completed and appear in this issue again.
Rich natural environment in Australia and the sites with many restrictions in Japan…While the houses in two countries contrast considerably in their site conditions, they have something in common as considering the relathionship with their surroundings and the way to let in light and fresh air.
