Description

As YuMi Hyun writes in the introduction to this issue’s main feature: “When architecture is confronted with a powerful outside – sweeping landscapes, insistent topographies, the slow sediment of time – the real question is not what it can impose, but what stance the architect chooses to take.” The six projects that follow choose not to compete with context, but to find their place within it.
