Description
The magazine examines residential architecture in France by showcasing a diverse array of projects. From newly built urban homes and renovated farmhouses to mixed-use apartment blocks in redevelopment districts, the selection covers six multi-unit projects and twelve single-family houses. The projects emphasise the varied efforts of architects and stakeholders when building within unique and historic areas in Paris and elsewhere, as well as architects’ sensitivity to existing conditions. Included are works by Lacaton & Vassal, Studio Muoto, BAST, Studio Odile Decq, Avignon Architecte, FREAKS Architecture, Atelier du Pont, Moussafir Architectes, and more.
