Description
This edition is dedicated to Slovenian architects Matija Bevk and Vasa J. Perović, who together head the renowned practice Bevk Perović Arhitekti. The flexibility of Slovene people and culture is seen as an advantageous quality of the architects’ work, which begins by accepting all given conditions no matter how restrictive they might appear at first. Besides critical essays by Tadej Glažar and Luis Fernández-Galiano, the issue features eighteen notable buildings and projects in Ljubljana and beyond, such as the Cultural Centre of European Space Technologies (KSEVT), Erasmushogeschool Brussels, NZS HQ, Poljane student housing, NUK2 and several private residences.
