Description
Urbanity Twenty Years Later is a long-term research project that is rediscovering Central European urban values. This regional project aims to find answers for the future of our cities as a reflection of these values. The first publication of the Urbanity project presents thoughts of emerging architects about the city and its potential. A team of architects, photographers, sociologists, architecture students, non-government organizations and others joined more than 150 participants working on visions for Berlin, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana, Prague, Vienna and Warsaw. As guest critic Elia Zenghelis points out, the scope of “Urbanity Twenty Years Later goes beyond official education, where political awareness is treated like a hot potato”.
