Self educated as an architect, Ando has forged a distinct style which rests heavily on his preference for the use of concrete in his designs. This volume collates a selection of housing projects chosen by the architect himself which he considers to be significant turning points in his career. A total of 19 projects, some unrealized, are comprehensively surveyed through full page colour photographs and sketches, plans and details.
