Residential Masterpieces 18 Frank O. Gehry

This large-format volume features two of Frank Gehry’s famous residential works from the 1980s, the Winton Guest House in Minnesota and the Schnabel Residence in California, photographed by acclaimed Japanese photographer Yukio Futagawa. Besides the first-rate images of these “archisculptural” works by the Canadian architect, the volume includes concept sketches and technical drawings, plus an appreciative essay by Futagawa that gives some background on the houses, their clients, and place in Gehry’s oeuvre.
