Tectoniques is a French architecture collective that specializes in the use of timber in its designs. This is the first publication devoted to the collective’s works and presents twelve exemplary projects that illustrate their key concerns of reducing technical complexity, optimisation of budget performance and facing the challenges of various environmental and social aspects of construction methods. Although no plans, drawing or models are included, all works are comprehensively documented throughout with photographs.
