Description
Maybe it is the sprawling green pastures that foster imagination, or the harsh winters that force you to rethink shelter, but Hokkaido has produced some amazing architects. One of them is Jun Igarashi (b. 1970). This book assembles a number of his projects located mostly on Hokkaido: the Mirror Site House, Rectangular Forest, Rectangle User Truss, a Water Cube Project, the Wind Circle, the Tokorotosa U-House, a White Courthouse, a Small Atelier, the R Archives, a House M, a Layered House, an Agricultural Barn, a House of Trough, the Corridor of Light Project, a Corridor in the Wilderness and many others.
