Description
With two major works under construction outside Spain, the Munch Museum in Oslo and the Ágora-Bogotá Convention Center in the Columbian capital, Juan Herreros channels his teaching, research, and professional activity from a global and multidisciplinary approach. The eight projects featured in this issue, which also include Green Vertical Housing in Marseille and Seoul’s Evergreen Terrace, focus on his studio’s primary areas of interest: the city, sustainability, and typological revision. Also in this issue, a detailed feature on the Tate Modern extension by Herzog & de Meuron and Atelier Bow-Wow’s new book, Made in Tokyo, which analyses 70 hybrid urban architectures.
