Wyoming

Description

What happens when the uncompromising theory of “Non-Referential Architecture” collides with the visionary mind of contemporary pop culture? The Wyoming Project is the physical and intellectual result of an intense creative encounter between Valerio Olgiati and Kanye West. Deeply embedded within the North American steppe, this structure breaks completely with traditional notions of domestic space, marking a radical return to the architectural archetype – raw, monolithic, and deeply secure. Published by About Books (Zurich), this book offers an exclusive, first-of-its-kind insight into the design process, drawings, and spatial philosophy behind this extraordinary partnership. Olgiati’s characteristic mastery of monolithic forms and technical precision perfectly reflects West’s pursuit of new, holistic environments. Across 80 beautifully curated pages, the volume serves as a visual and conceptual manifest, redefining the contemporary discourse on architectural autonomy, materials and monumentality.
