Description
Introduced by six projects that embrace varying notions of sustainable architectural design, C3 also presents three collections of works based around different subjects. ‘Fairy-tale buildings’ are the first of these with five fantastical projects examined, including The Treehouse restaurant by Pacific Environments Architects and Javier Senosiain’s Nautilus House. Secondly, five projects are presented that seek different interfaces with their surroundings, including Matharoo Associates’ House with Balls, KWK Promes ‘Safe House,’ and FFAT by Arquitectos Anónimos®. Lastly, six bridge projects – predominantly for pedestrians – are featured, including designs by McDowell+Bendetti, Pushak, Studio Granda and Wilkinson Eyre Architects.
