STREET WORKS

Description

The StreetWorks research and design project explores the cohesive function of the urban street. It examines the significance of the street’s linear space, its orientation within the city and its surroundings, and the role architecture plays in this urban context. ‘StreetWorks’ takes European traditions and ideologies into account in its research, and attempt to unravel the many layers of urban reality in the street, such as meaning, history, function and perception.
